3 Fun & Free-ish Things To Do in Toronto This Weekend (April 10-12, 2026)

If you're looking for things to do in Toronto this weekend and want something that actually gets you out of the house - here are three worth-it options that don't require much planning or a big budget.
From a massive outdoor block party to one of Canada's best handmade goods markets and a free art crawl on Queen West - this one's for the people who like their weekends with a little texture.

STACKT Block Party
π Location: STACKT Market, 28 Bathurst St
ποΈ Date & Time: Wednesday-Sunday, April 08-12, 2026 Β· 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Β· Free
STACKT is turning seven this week and they're celebrating the way they do everything - with a full weekend block party that's free to show up to.
We're talking outdoor games on the west lawn, a weekend market with local vendors, food, cold drinks, and DJ sets running all weekend from STACKT's resident DJs. It's the kind of afternoon that starts as "let's just pop by for an hour" and turns into a full day out without you realizing it.
The Bathurst and Lake Shore location puts you right at the water's edge, which in mid-April finally starts to feel like a reason to be outside rather than a punishment. Whether you're going with friends, a date, or just wandering solo - STACKT Block Party is one of the easiest, most low-effort good times you can have in Toronto this weekend.
π Great for: anyone who wants a free outdoor plan, market browsers, people who've been waiting for an excuse to finally enjoy the waterfront again.

One of a Kind Spring Show
π Location: Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, 100 Princes' Blvd
ποΈ Date & Time: Thursday-Sunday, April 9-12, 2026 Β· Times vary
If you've ever wanted to own something that nobody else has - this is the weekend for it.
The One of a Kind Spring Show returns to Enercare Centre with hundreds of Canadian artisans showcasing handcrafted goods across fashion, jewellery, home dΓ©cor, ceramics, skincare, gourmet food and more. Every single item is made by the person selling it, which means you can actually talk to the maker, hear the story behind the piece, and walk away with something genuinely original.
It's one of those events that sounds like "just a market" until you're two hours deep and seriously considering a custom ceramic set or a hand-stitched jacket. Budget a few hours and bring your wallet - but also just the browsing alone is worth the trip.
Tickets are required for entry but reasonably priced, and Sunday is the final day so if you go this weekend, don't leave it too late.
π Great for: design lovers, gift shoppers, anyone who's tired of buying things that feel mass-produced, and couples looking for a genuinely enjoyable afternoon out.

Toronto Art Crawl Spring Pop-Up
π Location: The Great Hall, 1087 Queen St W
ποΈ Date & Time: Sunday, April 12, 2026 Β· 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Β· Free
One afternoon, one room, 60+ Toronto artists - and it costs nothing to walk in.
The Toronto Art Crawl Spring Pop-Up takes over The Great Hall on Queen West for a single-day free market showcasing paintings, jewellery, photography, sculpture, fashion, home dΓ©cor, skincare, pet products and more. All made by local artists. All available to buy directly from the people who created them. There's also food vendors on site and a live DJ set from Kid Artik keeping the energy up throughout the afternoon.
Show up early if you want one of the 25 limited-edition swag bags they're giving away at the door. And even if you miss those - an afternoon on Queen West with good music, local art, and zero entry fee is pretty hard to beat.
π Great for: art lovers, local shopping, a solo Sunday afternoon, or a low-key date that still feels like you did something with your day.
