Best Vendor Markets in Toronto: A Local's Guide

If you love supporting Toronto's small businesses and local artisans as much as we do, you're in the right place.
We've spent more weekends than we can count walking these markets - and even worked a few booths helping friends along the way - so this isn't a roundup pulled together from a Google search. These are some of the best Toronto vendor markets that we genuinely love showing up for.
There are plenty of great markets in this city, but this is just our honest shortlist of the ones we know best.

Toronto Artisan Market
The Toronto Artisan Market lives at Trinity Bellwoods, and the park itself is half of what makes it special. The vendor lineup is always strong - Toronto ceramicists, candle makers, jewellers, illustrators, the full mix - but the real kicker is the location itself.
There’s just something so nice about enjoying a park day and then going for a market stroll. Bonus points if you grab some bites at any of the local food spots and then make your way back to the park - suddenly you've turned a market visit into a full day of fun.
Where: Trinity Bellwoods Park
Best for: Turning a market trip into a full day out

Toronto Flea
The Toronto Flea (formerly known as the Leslieville Flea) feels less like a market and more like a courtyard gathering that you've happened to wander into. Their new home at the Ashbridge Heritage Estate is genuinely beautiful - old trees, heritage architecture, and a thoughtful mix of vintage sellers and independent Toronto makers.
Where: Ashbridge Heritage Estate, East Toronto
Best for: Vintage finds with atmosphere

Kensington Flea
You could argue that all of Kensington Market is just one giant market - but the Kensington Flea is its own little corridor. Tucked into an alley just off Augusta Avenue, it runs every weekend through the summer and rotates through local artisans, makers, dreamers, and doers.
Where: Off Augusta Avenue, Kensington Market
Best for: Browsing and eating without leaving the block

Good Friends Market
If we had to describe Good Friends Market in one line, it'd be "a mini Wonderland." The way they curate their spaces - with vendors next to photo booths next to bite-sized food next to temporary tattoo stations - makes it feel like you're wandering through a pop-up world (photo above doesn't do it justice, we just couldn't find a better photo online 😅)
Oh, and one time at a Good Friends Market we got pulled into a game of Stella Ella Ola with a circle of strangers - and then we just cut. No forced hangs, no exchanging emails.. Just a lovely moment that happened because we showed up to the Good Friends Market. And that's kinda the whole point right?
Where: Rotating Toronto locations around Queen West
Best for: Going for the experience as much as the shopping
Never miss a Toronto market again
These four are just the ones we know and love - but Toronto runs dozens of vendor markets, artisan pop-ups, and local maker events every single week. Half the challenge is just knowing they exist before they happen.
That's why we built PlanMyFun. Tell us what you're into, and we surface the markets, events, and local experiences worth showing up for - curated for you, updated daily, and no scrolling required.
